From swimming pool cracks to
broken pipes underground, the smallest leak or pipe defect is pinpointed
with the most advanced, sophisticated electronic devices.
Evaporation/Bucket Test
If you follow these instructions -this test will help you
determine if you have a leak:
-
1. Bring pool water to normal level - ( middle of pool tile
or skimmer)
-
2. Take a bucket and mark the inside of the bucket with a
marker about two inches down from the top - Fill the bucket to the
mark and set the bucket on the first step of the pool.
-
3. Shut off the pool, let the water settle down in the pool
and mark the outside of the bucket at the water line. Keep the pool off for 24
hours. Note: If you have a pool & spa combo we recommend that you
isolate the spa if possible.
-
4. After 24 hours compare the two levels. If the pool water
decreases more than the water inside the bucket then you most likely
have a leak.
***Please keep everyone including animals out of and away
from the pool and bucket.
***In case of rain if the bucket water level goes up, the
pool water level should also increase the same amount.
